Lee Marshall is a renowned photographer, notable for his images of concerts and musicians. Marshall moved to New York City in 1966 and photographed the legendary Woodstock Festival in 1969. After Woodstock, he covered the Rock music scene in the New York area and shot iconic album covers and live concerts for Rock and Salsa record labels and magazines.

His legendary album covers for Fania Records include Willie Colon's "Lo Mato" and Hector Lavoe's "De Ti Depende." His photography includes important images of the most famous Salsa artists of the 1970s and 80s: Ruben Blades, Celia Cruz, La Lupe, Larry Harlow, Mongo Santamaria, Hector Lavoe, Tito Puente, Ray Barretto and many others
